In addition to anatomy, physiology and pathology, students attending the massage course learn basic Swedish massage, wellness, nutrition, touch for bodyworkers, interpersonal communication skills, Eastern bodywork techniques, sports massage, kinetic anatomy (kinesiology), CPR and first aid, and other vital skills. Because MTTI meets or exceeds most State educational requirements, graduates of the massage therapy program are eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam.

The 300-hour Wellness Coaching Program teaches students a range of in-depth courses entailing concepts in wellness, fitness consulting, stress management facilitation, nutrition, wellness center operation, health consulting business management, among others.
